In Short

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this notice, unless a longer period is required by law.

We will retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this notice, including for tax, accounting, legal, or compliance obligations where required.

When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it. If deletion is not immediately possible, such as when data remains in backup archives, we will securely store it and isolate it from further processing until deletion becomes possible.

Section 5

We use reasonable organizational and technical security measures to protect personal information.

Section 6

6. Do We Collect Information From Minors?

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

By using the services, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor who is using the services with your consent.

If we learn that personal information from someone under 18 has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. If you believe a child under 18 has provided personal information, contact us at ayaschwartz@compass.com.

Section 7

7. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

In Short

Depending on your location, you may have rights to withdraw consent, opt out of certain communications, and request access to or control over personal information.

If we rely on your consent to process personal information, you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us using the information in How Can You Contact Us About This Notice?.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal or processing based on lawful grounds other than consent.

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link, replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to marketing text messages where applicable, or contacting us using the details in How Can You Contact Us About This Notice?.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties.

If you have questions about your privacy rights, email aya.schwartz@compass.com.

Section 8

8. Controls For Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track feature you can activate to signal your privacy preference. Because no uniform technology standard for recognizing DNT signals has been finalized, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals.

California law requires us to disclose how we respond to DNT signals. Because there is currently no consistent industry or legal standard for honoring those signals, we do not respond to them at this time.

We do recognize and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If you use a browser or extension that supports GPC, we will treat the signal as a valid opt-out request for the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising where required by applicable law. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.

Section 9

9. Do United States Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?

In Short

Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive details about how personal information is processed.

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia, state privacy laws may give you additional rights, subject to applicable exceptions.
